ABA with Iris

about me

I am a very ambitious, driven, and dedicated behavior analyst who has been working with the special needs population for over 10 years.  I have an older sister with autism which has helped me with learning about how to help people with autism. Whether I am working directly with a client, parent training, or helping interns to become a BCBA, my work relies on scientifically validated research and rapport building. I focus on interventions that are practical and functional not only for the child but also for the family system around the child.

I hold a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Indiana University where I gained experience through the program's school and internship.  In addition, I have a Certificate in Feeding Therapy & ABA Parent Training as well.  I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a licensed behavior analyst in Utah (LBA-UT).  My experience has been in home-based, group homes, public schools, private schools, community-based and center-based settings.  My most recent position before moving into my own practice was as the Director and Treatment Plan Reviewer, where I helped out the BCBAs, interns, and RBT's to grow and did all different types of treatment plan reviews for all insurance companies.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Autism & and developmental delays

  • Non-verbal, Down syndrome,

  • ADHD, Anxiety, & emotional regulation

  • Feeding Therapy

  • Verbal behavior training, including implementation of AAC devices
